French President Emmanuel Macron arrived in Beijing on Monday to kick off a three-day state visit to China.
The French president and first lady Brigitte Macron were received by Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi at Beijing Capital International Airport.
Macron is the first European leader to visit China since last autumn's 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China.
