Job Description
Duties and responsibilities
The Market Analyst’s main duties and responsibilities are:
• Being the main contact for market information gathering, information analysis as well as pricing evaluation.
• Making recommendations on marketing strategies by region and country
• Performing extensive market research
• Being in touch with the market and product trends and constantly review and update the marketing strategy.
• Coordinating and implementing with the rest of the team all the programs and activities related to the development of Marketing & Sales programs and activities
• Performing extensive market research to identify new market opportunities and evaluate market penetration
• Making recommendations on marketing strategies by region and country and coordinating the strategy
• Managing the relationship with all the stakeholders of the marketing process (Sales teams, fertilizers associations, market research firms, etc.)
• Tracking budget and forecasting attainment, analyzing deviations from budget & forecasts
• Monitoring the competition’s strategy and moves
Qualifications
Qualifications include:
• Bachelor in Business Administration or equivalent
• 3-5 years of experience in the field of Consulting in the Agriculture and/or Fertilizer sectors
• Extensive experience in conducting market studies and evaluating marketing strategies
• Ability to translate market research & analysis into concrete and measurable sales & Marketing plans
• Good knowledge of the Agriculture sector and Fertilizer industry
• Good knowledge of advanced statistical analysis and research methodologies, along with common computer programs
• Fluent in English and local languages
• Already worked in a multinational/multicultural team will be an asset
• Strong communication skills
• Good interpersonal skills
Working Conditions
The Market Analyst will :
