President of Tanzania, Hon. Dr. John Beer Magufuli urged the Regional Commissioners, District Councils and the Directors of the influx of removing existing tax on crops so farmers can benefit from and increase their income.
This command was issued today while addressing residents of Bukoba and Tanzanians in general being in a working visit of two days in the region.
"Asking the Regional Commissioners, District Directors of the Board with reviewing the existing tax on various products like coffee and cotton, not sure who married this influx of tax benefit to these businesses and their products," said President Magufuli.
Moreover Magufuli President has promised Tanzanians that he will make sure he works day and night regardless of ideology, religion and ethnic groups in order to ensure the country moves forward in all spheres of development.
Referring to the development of various donations for the survivors of the earthquake in the region Magufuli President has said that until now cement released is more than 30,600 tons and 31,000 more than a thousand sheets where citizens have begun assigned to the building.
encouraged citizens affected by the earthquake independent of the Government to do everything and instead begin to build and use this rainy season to cultivate in order to secure food.
Magufuli President also thanked the donors who contributed to congratulate Disaster Kagera urging the heart to continue in building our nation.
