Vice President Samia Suluhu I support efforts to combat drugs

Vice President of the United Republic of Tanzania, Hon Samia Hassan suluhu has backed efforts to combat drugs in the country as a measure to save the national tragedy that has caused great harm to society.

Vice President Hon Samia Hassan Suluhu has issued the statement while speaking to officials of the district council of Ilemela, Mwanza.

Vice President stressed that the fight against drugs is sustainable will aim to stamp out the sale, distribution and use of these drugs as a measure to save present and future generations in the country.

He said the government never fifth phase will go back to the war against drugs and Lenya and has asked the public to continue to provide confidential information to the media empire will help identify people involved in the business in order to arrest and legal action.

About the problem of illegal fishing, Vice President Hon Samia Settlement Hassan has directed officials of the provinces of the region of the Lake including leaders of Mwanza and other regions in the country to establish immediately an operation strict anti-illegal fishing in Lake Victoria who have contributed significantly to the decrease in fish in the lake.

"Manufacturing of fish currently do not attain enough fish situation which undermined the fish processing operations so all asking the leaders to fight effectively with illegal fishing and never maltreatment compassion" stressed the Vice President.

Settlement Vice President Hon Samia Hassan stressed that the fight against drugs in the country is important went on with the operation ending illegal fishing on Lake Victoria and other locations in the country.

He said illegal fishing have contributed significantly to the decrease in fish in lakes across the country because they used illegal nets that distort shoals of fish it is appropriate actions should be taken against them in order to stamp out the problem.

Meanwhile the district council Ilemela, has implemented orders 14 made by the Vice President of the United Republic of Tanzania, Hon Samia Settlement Hassan made by him last year when he made a working visit in the district, including the issue of staff council sit adjacent to the office where the border 23 heads of departments now live within the district Ilemela compared to previously where the ministers were staying out of the district, which is mentioned conditions contributed to impede the functioning of the committee.
