Syrian President Bashar al Assad has defended the initiative of the President of the United States, Donald Trump to prevent immigrants and refugees from seven countries with strict Islamic faith.

Assad said Trump's plan not prevent the citizens of Syria to enter into the great nation of the United States but is fighting terrorists who endanger the safety of much of the world now.

"It is against terrorists who may enter to infiltrate through some of the immigrants, and it happened yet, it came to Europe, countries like Germany," said Assad when interviewed by radio station Europe 1 and the TV station TF1.

"I think Trump goals is to prevent all the people who are going, do not stop people who come from Syria," concludes the President of Syria.

Yet Trump plan to prevent immigrants and refugees from entering the US already seems stuck after a court order rescinding it and allow immigrants and refugees continue to enter as usual, although already Trump has said he will seek alternatives to prevent them from entering the United States.
