Conservatives of the new cabinet are Minister of Internal Security Fred Matiangi, Minister of Finance Mr. Henry Rotich, Minister of Tourism Najib Balala, and Mr. Joseph Mucheru maintaining his position of Minister of Technology and Information. The Minister of Communication remains Mr James Macharia and Kawi's Minister Mr. Charles Keter.

When politicians were deployed by the president to hold office of the minister, he was the Turkana State Senator, John Munyes and former Marsabit Goals, in the East of Kenya, Bwana Ukur Yatani,

The Kenyan leader who serves for his second and last term as president said he is still in the process of designing his full council.

The Kenyan Constitution states that the cabinet must have between 14 and 22 ministers.
